Argentina IT & Software Commercial Mission

In one of the key events of the year, the Chamber joined the Agencia Argentina de Inversiones y Comercio Internacional and the Argentine Consulate in Atlanta in the organization of the 2018 Argentina IT & Software Commercial Mission to Atlanta.
We hosted 15 IT & software companies from Argentina who had the opportunity to interact with global leaders in the field of IT & software and be exposed to cutting edge technological trends, hear directly from key corporate and business IT heads about their needs through an innovative “reverse pitch” methodology an establish direct business contacts.

The event was held at Georgia Tech’s Institute for People and Technology (IPaT) and included visits to Georgia Tech’s Innovation Advanced Technology Center and to the Atlanta Tech Village. A cocktail reception with more than 50 representatives from Atlanta IT & business community closed the first day.
Ursula Eyherabide, Argentina Vice-Consul in Atlanta, Mariano Saldaña, Managing Director of Lanin Technologies and Chair of the Chamber IT & Software committee and Mariano Maluf, Global Innovation & Strategy Leader in Business and Technologies took over the organization of the event locally. Consul General Jorge Lopez Minardi and Fernanda Yanson from the Agencia Argentina de Inversiones welcomed all attendees.
